Teachers, to remain eligible to submit candidates for examinations, a member must have dues current and continue to attend, within a three year period, one of the following:

1. One National Seminar

2. Two CCA Seminars of shorter duration

3. Two CCA refreshers

Evidence of attendance at regional seminars and refreshers is required to be submitted to the National Executive Board.

SW Committee Teacher Scholarships
The SW Committee CCA is offering Teacher Scholarships in the amount of $280.00 and $500.00 to attend the Teacher’s Summer Seminar in Michigan. These scholarships will apply for those teachers working on Grades I-IV and Advanced levels. Deadline for scholarship submission has been changed to March 15, 2015 in order for teachers to be eligible for Matching Scholarships from Nationals. Karen Drouin was a treasure to the SW Committee and the Cecchetti Council of America holding advanced certificates as both student and teacher.When she passed in 2011, she left a legacy. The SW Committee honors that legacy and keeps Karen’s vision of artistry alive offering the Karen Drouin Advanced Scholarship for students.The Karen Drouin Advanced Scholarship is a $500.00 award to the National Seminar offered every summer. Students audition for the scholarship during the SW Spring Seminar Refresher.


Southwest CCA is a non-profit organization, which exists to foster, motivate and instruct both students and instructors in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet.
